One of the great movie hits of 2019 was the hypnotic, black and white film, ‘Bait’, shot in Cornwall by director, Mark Jenkin.
The film won Mr Jenkin the 2019 Bafta for Outstanding Debut for a British Writer, Director or Producer.
Now, according to The Cornish Guardian, Mr Jenkin is forging ahead with plans for another movie set in Cornwall.
New plans are to shoot an ‘ecosophical’ horror movie, exploring Cornwall’s mining heritage and landscape. Entitled ‘Enys Men, the film has the support of the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape World Heritage Site.
