Did you know that dogs are welcome to enjoy many of the stunning beaches of Cornwall just as much as their owners?
Across the county dozens of fabulous beaches are open to dogs all year round, with many others only operating a summer-time ban. So those dramatic, wind-blown and bracing walks are possible for both owner and canine friend.
Just north of Port Isaac, the vast, open space that is Trebarwith Strand is open to dogs twelve months a year, and a couple of miles to the south, the gorgeous Daymer Bay is also a year-round canine destination.
Even closer, Polzeath Beach, west along the south-west coast path, is open to dogs between October and Easter.
