The Platt, the centre of Port Isaac’s quaint, historic harbour, has become famous for the performances of The Fisherman’s Friends which are held there regularly.
Over this summer, however, this atmospheric spot will also host a wider range of musical performances to entertain locals and tourists alike.
Throughout July and August, visitors to this beautiful harbour will be entertained by a variety of fabulous musical groups including Port Isaac’s ‘Gulls’, the fabulous female group; Acappella Sound, a mid-Cornwall group; St Breward Silver Band from nearby Bodmin, and Somewhere Beyond the Sea, performing a combination of operatic and theatre classics.
And, of course, The Fishermans’ Friends, getting us in the mood for the Shanty Festival which is to be held in Port Isaac on 7th and 8th September.
