Cornwall Air Ambulance Fund-raising Campaign

Monday, Sep 17, 2018

Cornwall Air Ambulance’s ‘New Heli Appeal’ is aiming to raise £2,500,000 by April 2020 in order to fund a new helicopter for this vital, life-saving service.

Since 1989, Cornwall Air Ambulance service has carried out 27,631 missions with over 800 of those being undertaken last year. As tourism to Cornwall is expected to continue to rise, the demands on this emergency service are set to increase.

The service is now hoping to purchase a new air ambulance in order to be able to maintain their service. They are encouraging businesses, tourists and their local and national supporters to contribute to their appeal by undertaking sponsored events, providing donations or remembering to include the service when making a will.
