To brighten up the dark winter evenings and herald the coming festive season, Port Isaac will be turning on its Christmas lights this year on Friday December 6th.
Heading east inland, Bodmin’s popular lantern parade and Christmas lights switch-on takes place this year on Friday 29th November.
If you still haven’t had your fill of the season’s spectacular lights displays, just a short drive south of Port Isaac, Padstow’s dramatic Christmas lights display will light up the harbour from the evening of Sunday 1st December in time for the town’s excellent food and drink festival the following weekend.
Festive scenes and spectacular light displays are scheduled across the region with The Eden Project’s Winter Festival and the Christmas Fair at The Lost Gardens of Heligan to name but two.
