Based on the story of Port Isaac’s most famous singing group, the film ‘Fisherman’s Friends’ was launched on general release last Friday.
The film tells the true story of a group of fishermen and their friends in Port Isaac, who began by meeting to sing on the harbour of the North Cornwall fishing village and ended by signing a record contract and producing a top ten album.
The Fisherman’s Friends, who have performed at a variety of high-profile venues including the Glastonbury Festival, continue to perform regularly at the harbour in Port Isaac.
