Following last year’s success when Lynher Dairies’ Cornish Kern won the World Cheese Awards, another Cornish cheese has gained international recognition this year as the world’s best cheese by winning the Global Cheese Awards.
After testing 820 entries, judges named Curds & Croust’s Russet Squire – a Cornish brie – Supreme Champion, as reported in the Cornish Guardian.
Based in Redruth, this highly-successful cheesemaker also won gold, silver and bronze awards for other cheeses in its range.
