Cornwall’s Blue Flag Beaches

Friday, June 1, 2018

According to reports in the Cornish Guardian, thirteen beaches in Cornwall have recently been awarded either Seaside Awards or Blue Flag status.

The Blue Flag award is an international symbol recognising the high quality of water, facilities, safety, environmental education, cleanliness and management.

One of the Blue Flag beaches, an award made to only seven beaches, is Polzeath beach, only a mile or so from our stunning coastal holiday accommodation in Port Isaac.

Polzeath beach is also known as one of the world’s best surfing beaches attracting visitors from all over the world.

Enjoy the best in North Cornwall

The North Cornish coast truly offers the best experience to the holiday-maker. Stunning scenery, world-class beaches and award-winning restaurants await those who venture to this beautiful region.

Our luxury, self-catering accommodation, The Beach House, overlooks the dramatic coastline and is situated within walking distance of the UK’s best restaurant, Restaurant Nathan Outlaw.
