The story of the fabulous Cornish singing group, The Fisherman’s Friends, is to be re-told in a new comedy film.
Discovered singing sea shanties in their local pub in Port Isaac, the group of fishermen have since gained nationwide success, even appearing at Glastonbury Festival.
Filming is under way in the village to tell the extraordinary story of this local group, the members of which still continue to ply their trade as fishermen.
Still performing regularly at the harbour in Port Isaac in the summer months and collecting money for charity, the Fisherman’s Friends are a must-see and must-hear event for anyone visiting this region.
