Port Isaac Carnival Entertains the Whole Family

Monday, September 18, 2017

Port Isaac’s playing fields played host to another great carnival last Saturday with crowds enjoying the wide variety of entertainment on offer.

Everyone truly got into the spirit of the occasion, designing fabulous carnival floats and costumes for the parade through the streets of the village.

There was plenty to entertain all the family throughout the day with fun for the kids, competitions, live music into the evening with a bar in the gorgeous marquee and a brilliant BBQ.

Well done all involved for the hard work putting on such a successful event. Yet another example of the great community spirit in this beautiful and creative village.

Local female singing group, ‘Gulls Aloud’ settle down on their nest in the back of a fisherman’s pickup.

We are all looking forward to next year’s carnival.
