Port Isaac is no stranger to the big screen, having provided the backdrop for a number of films and TV shows, from Doc Martin to Poldark and The Nightmare Man.
Now our beautiful village has played host to a short film called Never Land, which stars English comedian and actor Marcus Brigstocke.
The story revolves around an eight year old boy called Noah, who becomes terrified that his beloved home will be swept away by the sea.
The film focuses upon some important topics, most notably climate change, but also family, anxiety and faith.
Anna Hoghton, who wrote and directed the short film, said she chose Port Isaac because it has “a magical sense of timelessness.”
The premiere of Never Land is expected in February 2016 at the BFI Future Fest in London.
