National surf governing body Surfing GB has chosen Cornish lager, Korev, to be its official beer.
Korev, which is St Austell Brewery’s first premium lager, was launched in 2010. It has grown in popularity and is now one of the brewery’s leading brands.
The sponsorship deal affirms the brewery’s commitment to Surfing GB. The three year deal will help the governing body achieve its objectives, namely to ensure surfing is practiced in a safe and fun environment.
Alex Williams, Surfing GB director, said: “As Surfing GB develops and gains strength it is imperative that we have the support and backing in place to achieve our goals.”
