Congratulations to all those who participated in the Big Swim Cornwall 2014!
The two-day event sees swimmers of all ages tackle the stretch of water between Port Gaverne and Port Isaac. There are five different races, ranging from the ‘Not So Serious Swim’ to the triathlon.
All proceeds go to charity, with the beneficiaries this year being: Cornwall Air Ambulance, Little Harbour Children’s Hospice, The National Lobster Hatchery and Port Isaac RNLI. So far £15,000 has been raised, so well done to all involved!
This year also featured The Big Party on the Platt. Crowds were treated to a variety of musical acts, including Josh Curnow, The Grenaways and Mad Dog McCrea.
The Beach House is but minutes from the start-line and offers fantastic views of the whole event. So if you fancy participating or spectating next year, be sure to book your spot! Contact Colin to plan your stay at the Beach House.
