Tintagel Castle sits just nine miles up the coast from Port Isaac and on a clear day you can see the legendary birthplace of King Arthur from the comfort of the Beach House conservatory.
But rather than just view it from afar, why not get over there and go exploring? It’s always a great day for the family, and will be even more so over the coming months with the launch of the summer fun trail. Visitors will get to search the castle grounds in search of hidden clues. If you solve the challenge a surprise reward awaits!
The summer fun trail runs throughout the school holidays from Wednesday 24th July until Sunday 1st September. The castle is open every day from 10am until 6pm and tickets for the trail will be available to purchase on the day.
Good luck and happy hunting!
