Doc Martin Guided Tours

Monday, August 26, 2013

Doc Martin has finished filming for another year. The camera crew has gone, the cast has departed, and no longer can we watch on as Martin Clunes and the gang act out the latest scenes of our favourite TV series. But fans of Doc Martin do not feel bereft, as John Brown is on hand to give you a Doc Martin guided tour!

John is a local fisherman and has lived in Port Isaac for more than 50 years. His family have worked in the village since records began and he’s even part of the Fisherman’s Friends – a famous group of shanty singers that have toured the UK extensively. You could say he’s something of a Port Isaac man!

So who better than to give you a walk and talk guided tour around the village? The route takes in all Doc Martin locations, hidden paths and historical buildings of Port Isaac (or Portwenn, as some of you may know it). It’s a great way to discover our beautiful Cornish village and costs just £10 per person.

If you want to see Doc Martin’s cottage with your own eyes, come visit us in Port Isaac and enjoy John’s fantastic tour! For more information, visit or ring John Brown on 07815 156632
