Fisherman’s Friends Release New Single

Monday, July 22, 2013

Port Isaac’s Fisherman’s Friends have released a new single, Mary Anne, the first to be released since band member Trevor Grills and band promoter Paul McMullen tragically died earlier this year.

An announcement was made on the Fisherman’s Friends Facebook page on 25th June 2013. It read: “thank you all for your patience and understanding. We now feel able to give you some positive news: today we release the track Mary Anne with Trevor singing lead vocal, which was recorded shortly before his tragic death”.

The single has already proved to be a big hit and reached almost 7,500 YouTube views in just two days. Band member John Cleave said it was “very emotional” to hear Trevor’s voice on the single, commenting that they would “never find a voice like that” again.

The single features on the new album, One and All, released on 19th August 2013. It can be pre-ordered on Amazon and itunes.
