Doc Martin Charity Day

Tuesday, July 16, 2013

A good time was had by all at the Doc Martin charity event, held on Sunday 7th July.

Guests shared a cuppa with the stars at Stowaway Tea Shoppe on Fore Street, including Ian McNiece (Burt) and Joe Absalom (Al). Dodger the dog was also there and performed a number of tricks for the onlookers.

Over £1,500 was raised, with proceeds going to the Children’s Hospice South West and Battersea Dogs’ Home.

If you missed the chance to meet and greet the Doc Martin cast, you can always catch them out and about in the village. Filming continues throughout the summer in Port Isaac and you can find the crew in the following locations over the coming days:

  • Tuesday 16th July – at the RNLI from 10am until 11am, and Halwyn House and steps from 11am until 9pm.
  • Wednesday 17th July – Halwyn House and steps from 11am until 10pm.
  • Thursday 25th July – Old Café and Beach House, Port Gaverne, from 8am until 7pm.
