Walkers, hikers and ramblers – are you looking for your next adventure? Somewhere with footpaths on your doorstep, stunning scenery, and a beautiful house to relax in after a long day on your feet? If so then look no further…
It may sound too good to be true, but the Beach House offers all these things and more. Located in the quintessential fishing village of Port Isaac, the house actually sits on the South West Coast Path, the longest coastal path in the UK.
This means all you need do is pull on your walking books, step out the front door and choose which direction to turn! There is a variety of excellent routes to choose from, catering to all ages and abilities. One of our favourites is the walk to Tintagel Castle, a nine mile stroll across the cliff tops to King Arthur’s legendary birthplace.
At the end of the day when your legs are aching, you can return to the Beach House and relax in the sauna before resting up on the sofa in front of the log fire. We’ve got a fully equipped kitchen perfect for big group meals, or there are plenty of restaurants nearby if you’d prefer someone else to do the cooking.
