Port Isaac Features in Caroline Quentin’s TV Series

Tuesday, April 16, 2013

Caroline Quentin’s latest ITV series ‘Cornwall’ recently featured none other than our beloved village of Port Isaac.

During the programme she met one of our local lobster fishermen Callum Greenhalgh collecting his latest catch. She also caught up with old friend Sam Williams who was competing in the Big Swim charity event, an open water race between Port Gaverne and Port Isaac. And what a race it turned out to be!

In nearby Port Quin Caroline went out with the kayaking school, which she described as “incredible”. She said: “I didn’t know the north coast as well, so that was lovely for me to visit. It’s so quiet but it’s such a lovely place.”

Catch up with the episode online, or alternatively come down and experience everything Port Isaac has to offer for yourself!
