The nights are drawing in, the temperature has dropped and the leaves are falling. Autumn has well and truly arrived, and that can only mean one thing – Bonfire Night is nearly upon us.
This year the good folk of Port Isaac and Port Gaverne will be celebrating, just as we have been for the past 45 years! As usual there will be a firework display on Port Gaverne Beach, held on Saturday 10th November. For the past 25 years this has been organised by Rob, and although this will sadly be his last, it promises to be just as special as ever.
The night will kick-start at 6.30pm with a children’s lantern procession down to the beach. At 7pm the bonfire and fire sculpture display will be lit, and the grand fireworks finale will begin at 7.15pm. A barbecue will also be available for those in need of a bite to eat. It’ll be fun for all the family and is sure to help shake off those winter blues.
