If you’re stuck for ideas on how to spend New Year’s Eve this year, why not join the celebrations in Port Isaac?
It always promises to be a night to remember, with locals and tourists alike turning out in force to enjoy the party and soak up the atmosphere.
The highlight for many is the spectacular firework display, watched by crowds gathered together on the Platt. Launched from the cliff tops on the stroke of midnight, the show sends streams of colour across the bay, lighting up the night sky.
Afterwards, merrymakers line the streets for a good old Cornish knees up, singing and dancing until voices are hoarse and feet are sore.
And when the night is at an end, you can retreat back to the roaring log fire at the Beach House, put your feet up and welcome the start of a new year.
