Dog Friendly Beaches

Monday, August 13, 2012

When you go on holiday, you want to take the whole family with you – including the pet pooch. Sadly this isn’t always a viable option, as many hotels and holiday homes frown upon the presence of dogs and other such furry friends. But here at the Beach House we’re animal lovers and would be more than happy to welcome your four-legged friend.

What’s more, there’s a whole host of beautiful walks for you to enjoy. The South West Coastal Path runs along the bottom of our garden, and is perfectly placed for the rewarding walk to Tintagel Castle. There are also a number of dog-friendly beaches across North Cornwall, with the following 14 being easily accessible from Port Isaac:-

  1. Port Gaverne
  2. Port Isaac
  3. Sandy Mouth
  4. Northcott
  5. Summerleaze
  6. Widemouth Bay
  7. Trebarwith Strand
  8. Daymer Bay
  9. Harlyn Bay
  10. Constantine Bay
  11. Treyarnon Bay
  12. Porthcothan Bay
  13. Mawgan Porth
  14. Watergate Bay
