The St Endellion Easter Music Festival is just round the corner, and we urge you to book your tickets now to avoid disappointment!
Founded almost four decades ago by Richard and Frances Hickox, the festival has gone from strength to strength over the years, earning itself international repute amongst music lovers.
This year the nine day event will be held between 31March to 8 April at the Collegiate Church of St. Endelienta, St. Endellion – just a couple of miles from Port Isaac. The intimate setting of this beautiful fifteenth century church is the perfect venue, and never fails to deliver an intense musical experience that should not be missed!
The programme is packed to the rafters with chamber, orchestral and choral concerts, many of which feature some of the leading soloists in the country. There will also be recitals from both amateur and professionals musicians, along with English language performances of the Bach Passions.
Jamie Burton, the Easter Festival’s Musical Director, will also be making two very special appearances this year. He has been asked to compose a piece marking the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, which will be performed on Good Friday 6 April and again on 7 April.
Tickets cost £10 per adult – don’t miss out!
