Fisherman’s Friends recently put in another astounding performance at the Cambridge Folk Festival, one of longest running and most famous folk festivals in the world.
Established back in 1965, the Cambridge Folk Festival has become increasingly popular over the past 40 years and now attracts visitors from across the globe.
There were top-notch acts throughout the weekend, with performances from internationally renowned artists such as Laura Marling, Newton Faulkner and Bellowhead.
Come Sunday it was up to our local heroes to kick-start the day. As always they were on top of their game, pleasing crowds with a selection of sea shanties, including ‘The Drunken Sailor’ – a time-honoured favourite!
